“Yesterday, I was truly honored to stand beside my big sister, Zainab Shinkafi-Bagudu, President of MedicaidCFPrograms, at the extraordinary “Brushing off the Silence” event. Together, we celebrated a fusion of cancer advocacy and artistic expression at the Orisun Art Gallery.
This dynamic evening, featuring music, dance, poetry, and art, served a noble purpose: raising awareness about Prostate Cancer in Nigeria through creative means. With esteemed dignitaries like Dr. Tunji Alausa, Honourable Minister of State for Health and Social Welfare, represented by a senior technical aide, and Dr. Amina Abubakar Bello, Founder of Raise Foundation, in attendance, the event garnered significant attention.
It was a privilege to join forces with such influential figures, including Y.C Maikyau, President of the Nigerian Bar Association, to amplify the message of hope and solidarity in the fight against cancer. A truly unforgettable night of unity and purpose.”
