Holden Culotta: Marty Makary’s FDA to remove big pharma insiders and end cruel animal testing

“FDA chief Dr. Marty Makary just announced a tsunami of groundbreaking reforms.

Big Pharma insiders will be removed from FDA committees.

The FDA will end Dr. Fauci’s cruel animal testing.

RFK Jr.’s pledge to reveal the truth about the autism epidemic by September is not just ‘crazy talk.’

Dr. Makary: ‘We have to look at everything.’

‘You can’t say, we’re gonna do a study of what is causing this epidemic … but you can’t look at these potential causes.’

‘That’s now how science is done.’

‘If I had to make a hypothesis as a scientist, not as a regulator … I think it is the cumulative burden of all of these exposures, environmental and dietary, that alter the microbiome.’

‘When you carpet bomb the microbiome with all of these ingredients that don’t appear in nature … what are we doing?’

Dr. Robert Califf: ‘I’ve had this nightmare that I was head of this agency that my great-grandkids read about called the FDA, where a society let people gain a pound of weight every year, and then to fix it, they invented a drug at $20,000 a year to try to deal with it.’

Dr. Makary reminded the mainstream media that RFK Jr. ‘represents America.’

‘President Trump and Robert F. Kennedy Jr. are the two most popular political people in the US.’

‘That’s polling data, that’s not my opinion.’

Dr. Makary pledged that FDA is ‘redoing the food pyramid.’

‘No longer are we gonna say, you have to have these calories – it doesn’t matter how you get them, doesn’t matter if it’s all ultra-processed foods.’

‘When you ignore 1,000 chemicals, some of which are petrochemicals that have been introduced into the food supply simply because the industry have self-deemed them as safe … then you can’t call something healthy.’

Dr. Makary: ‘Today, we are announcing we are removing Pharma members from FDA advisory committees.’

‘I was shocked when I learned that employees of Big Pharma companies sit on FDA advisory committees.’

‘We are gonna be replacing them … with patients and family caregivers.’

‘We are gonna be inviting Pharma companies to send representatives to the advisory committees, but they can sit with the rest of the public.’

‘A lot of people in the US feel that the system is rigged.’

‘We cannot have anymore indications for chronic pain written for a drug based on a 14-day study where the regulator then goes immediately and works for the company.’

Dr. Makary exposed how the swamp tried to corrupt his nomination process.

‘When I got this nomination, I cannot tell you how many lobbyists … ‘the swamp,’ reached out to me.’

‘This is how it happens:

‘We want to help you with your confirmation. We want to write a letter on behalf of our company to the Senators.’

‘You know what I said? Don’t talk to the Senators. I don’t want your letters.’

‘They’re not for free. Those are obligations that then you feel indebted to return once you’re in office, and I’d rather not get confirmed … than have those obligations.’

Then Dr. Makary made another groundbreaking announcement.

‘We are doing everything we can … to reduce animal testing.’

‘God did not make these animals on planet Earth for us to do cruel things to them.’

‘The computational models can do as good or better of a job.’

‘Those models should be replacing animal testing.’

‘I’d like to see as much reduction of unnecessary animal testing as humanly possible.’
