The four ESTRO journals are joining forces for a special issue on reirradiation – Radiotherapy and Oncology
Radiotherapy and Oncology shared a post on LinkedIn:
“For the first time ever, the four ESTRO journals – Radiotherapy and Oncology, phiRO, ctRO, and tipsRO – are joining forces for a special issue on reirradiation, one of the most challenging and rapidly evolving areas in radiation oncology.
With advances in technology, AI-driven planning, and imaging, reirradiation is redefining what’s possible, offering new hope for patients with recurrent or new tumors in previously irradiated areas.
As more patients live longer, the need for safe and effective reirradiation is greater than ever. How can we maximize tumor control while minimizing toxicity? How do we ensure every patient receives precise, personalized care?
We invite submissions that shape the future of reirradiation:
- Radiotherapy and Oncology The Green Journal – Interdisciplinary research, prospective trials, and large cohorts
- PhiRO – Physics and Imaging in Radiation Oncology – Dosimetry, AI, and novel imaging techniques
- ctRO – Clinical and Translational Radiation Oncology – Translational research, case reports, and small series
- TipsRO – Technical Innovations and Patient Support in Radiation Oncology – Clinical workflows, dosimetry studies, and quality audits
Submit now and help transform patient care!”
ESTRO (European Society for Radiotherapy and Oncology) shared this post, adding:
“Submit your papers on Reirradiation to any of the 4 ESTRO journals!”
