Esosa Omoregie: Day 2 at ASBMB 2025 – Insights, networking, and career growth
Esosa Omoregie, Graduate Research Assistant, Dept. of Biology at Georgia Southern University, shared a post on LinkedIn:
“Day 2 at ASBMB 2025 – Insights, Networking, and Career Growth!
What an incredible day at the ASBMB Annual Meeting! From cutting-edge discussions in drug discovery and cancer research to invaluable career development insights, today was nothing short of inspiring.
One highlight was meeting Professor Dawn Wenzel from the Medical College of Wisconsin, a fantastic conversation on career trajectories and the fascinating dynamics of protein-protein interactions in disease pathways. Her perspective as a seasoned researcher was both enlightening and motivating! Also, a brief talk with Professor Christopher Travis stood out as I also got to understand a lot about his current research and publications.
This conference continues to prove why it’s a must-attend for scientists at every stage. The chance to exchange ideas with experts, peers, and future leaders in biochemistry and molecular biology is unparalleled.
Excited for what the rest of the week holds!”
