“Congratulations to Erika Triplett! Erika has been selected as the 2025 recipient of the Brenda Bristow Oncology Nursing Scholarship.
With 12 years of experience in oncology nursing, Erika is currently pursuing her BSN and has aspirations to earn her MSN and continue advancing the profession.
This scholarship honors the legacy of Brenda Bristow, a pioneer in oncology nursing best known for her instrumental role in opening the Bone Marrow Transplant Unit in 1990. Brenda inspired generations of nurses, including her son, Clyde A. Bristow, retired Chief Nursing Officer at Lexington Medical Center.
The scholarship is generously sponsored by Clyde and his sister, Catherine Harris. Join us in celebrating Erika and the enduring impact of the Bristow family on oncology nursing!”
