“New hope for children and probably adults with hemianopia
This work initiated by Dr. Michael Reber shows that a virtual rehabilitation program using goggles can significantly improve the visual field of children with hemianopia after 8 weeks. This has been an incredible experience and rich collaboration between UHN and Sickkids with funding from the Meagan Bebenek Foundation.
And more to come with 2 larger studies in Canada and in Europe!
Congrats Michael!”
