EORTC – How EU regulations are not adequately supporting the conduct of patient-centred clinical trials
EORTC shared on LinkedIn:
“A new EORTC article in the European Journal of Cancer highlights how EU regulations are not adequately supporting the conduct of pragmatic, patient-centred clinical trials focused on public health, rather than drug registration.
Despite their importance, these trials face increasing regulatory barriers.
Policymakers are urged to work with independent research groups to improve regulations and better support trials aimed at treatment optimisation.”
Do regulations and policies undermine the social value of independent academic research?
