Elvina Majiwa and Murallitharan Munisamy Have Won The World No Tobacco Day Award – UICC

Union for International Cancer Control (UICC) shared a post on LinkedIn:

“We’re proud to congratulate Elvina Majiwa and Murallitharan Munisamy on receiving the prestigious World No Tobacco Day Award.
Elvina is part of the Kenya Tobacco and Nicotine Tax Coalition formed in the frame of ‘The Cancer Prevention Programme: Strengthening Tobacco Control in East Africa’, a joint initiative between UICC and CRUK supporting tobacco control efforts in Kenya and Uganda.
Murallitharan Munisamy is a UICC Young Leader 2019-20 and Director of the National Cancer Society Malaysia, a UICC member organisation. Each year, WHO honours individuals and organisations from every region for their dedication to advancing tobacco control. Their achievements set a powerful example for the global community.”
