Egypt as a trusted destination for medical education & treatment, with its rapidly advancing cancer care infrastructure, its bold National Cancer Control Strategy and dedicated teams, offers a powerful example of how local excellence can scale global impact and pave the way to have this historical collaboration towards establishing a regional hub.
The collaboration between American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO) and Egyptian Cancer Society (ECS) marks a new chapter in the global fight against cancer. Together, we are not only exchanging knowledge — we are building bridges of innovation, equity, and hope.
Through this strategic collaboration, we are: Elevating cancer care quality across the region, Investing in next-generation oncologists and cancer researchers and Aligning with global best practices while honoring local needs.

ASCO and the Egyptian Cancer Society formalized a landmark MoU to strengthen cancer care across the region by creating a hub for education, research, and clinical excellence in Egypt. The initiative aims to align global best practices with local priorities and foster future oncology leadership.
