Douglas Flora: The morning programs at the Association of Cancer Care Centers yearly business meeting were packed with insightful knowledge for program development
Douglas Flora, Executive Medical Director of Oncology Services at St. Elizabeth Healthcare, shared a post on LinkedIn:
“The morning programs here in D.C. at the Association of Cancer Care Centers yearly business meeting were packed with insightful knowledge for program development. I just finished moderating a Deep Dive session on Community Oncology Research allowing me to see some of the significant strides being made in our field.
The innovative solutions developed by our ACCC partners, aimed at addressing some of oncology’s most pressing challenges, were particularly inspiring. Their smart use of technology to alleviate pain points is paving the way for future advancements in cancer care.
I’m grateful to presenters Hala Borno, Sylvia Zhang, Praduman Jain, Aisha Montgomery and Bridget Gonzales for sharing their groundbreaking work. Your efforts are a testament to the collaborative and innovative nature of cancer research, emphasizing the collective effort needed to drive change.
Participating in these discussions and witnessing the commitment to enhancing cancer research and care fuels my optimism for the future. Cheers to further innovation and collaboration in our ongoing battle against cancer”.
