“I am deeply grateful to have received pilot funding from the UF Health Cancer Center to work on improving lung cancer screening adherence. As a new member of the faculty, I’m especially appreciative of the leadership for their support and trust in my work to help me hit the ground running.
This grant will allow us to explore innovative ways to increase screening uptake, ultimately helping to reduce lung cancer mortality in Florida. I’m excited to collaborate with talented colleagues, community partners, and experts to drive meaningful change in this critical area of cancer care.
Thank you to everyone at UF Health Cancer Center for this incredible opportunity – I’m looking forward to making an impact together.”
