“As President of the European Cancer Organisation, I was honored to speak at the H20 Summit at WHO Geneva, a critical platform advancing G7 and G20 Presidential health agendas.
Joined global leaders in Panel: Enabling Policy Actions Following the G7 Health Ministers’ Commitment to Cervical Cancer Elimination. Under Italy’s 2024 G7 Presidency and Canada’s 2025 leadership, we’re driving bold action to eliminate cervical cancer through vaccination, screening, treatment, and awareness .
Chaired by Alan Donnelly, Chairman of the G20 and G7 Health and Development Partnership, our panel featured:
- Prof. Maarten Postma, Professor of Pharmacoeconomics, University of Groningen
- Dr. Amanda Doyle, National Director of Primary Care, Community, Vaccinations & Screening, NHS England

We discussed political and regulatory roles, G7 best practices , government case studies, and innovative awareness campaigns to meet WHO’s 90-70-90 goals.
