Dégi László Csaba on advancing quality of life in cancer care through EUonQol collaboration
Dégi László Csaba, Full Professor at UBB, ECO President, IPOS Secretary, Ombudsman, APSCO President, and FSAS Ph.D. Director, shared a post by EUonQol on LinkedIn:
“Honoured to speak on “QoL measurement in real-life” panel, where we explored how to use the right tools in the right ways to drive real, lasting change for people affected by cancer.
The EUonQol initiative is a great example of co-creation in action – bringing together patients, caregivers, and professionals to rethink how we assess and embed QoL in cancer systems.
We touched on workforce capacity, multidisciplinary teamwork, smart data platforms, and – above all – the central role of the patient voice.
Let’s keep collaborating to make quality of life a true priority in every step of cancer care!”
Quoting EUonQol‘s post:
“A powerful exchange of ideas at today’s roundtable on promoting synergies for better Quality of Life in cancer care across Europe.
From institutional support to cross-project synergies and real-life implementation, today’s panels brought together leading voices in cancer policy, projects and care.
One key takeaway? Collaboration is essential to make quality of life a true focus of health and cancer systems.”
