“On my way back home from Chicago after a wonderful few days with patient advocates at the Lynn Sage Breast Cancer symposium 2024.
Our first stop was at Northwestern University to attend the “Inaugural Breast Cancer Retreat”.
The program included,
1) a poster session by researchers.
2) lightning talks by researchers and awards.
3) Komen patient advocate panel.
I was honored to share my story with distinguished patient advocates. Bob Riter and Yvonne McLean Florence, M.Div.
4) finally we had the opportunity to visit 3 labs
