“Today, we proudly celebrated the ribbon-cutting of our new Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist Outpatient Surgery Center! This state-of-the-art facility will not only enhance access to high-quality surgical care for our community but also serve as a hub for training the next generation of surgeons. One of the unique advantages of this facility is our ability to perform complex surgeries in an outpatient setting, while being just steps away from the hospital for added support.
We are excited to provide this vital resource for our patients and continue advancing healthcare for all.”
Dr. David Zaas announced the opening of the Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist Outpatient Surgery Center. The facility is designed to deliver advanced surgical care in an outpatient setting while maintaining close proximity to hospital services. It will also play a key role in surgical education, contributing to both community health access and workforce development.
