Meet Dr. David Barbie, a leader in lung cancer research and care. As the director of the Dana-Farber’s Lowe Center for Thoracic Oncology and a co-investigator on EQUAL, he’s helping bridge the gaps in our community. With the EQUAL study, we aim to advance efforts to detect EGFR-type lung cancer early.

Why it matters: Early detection saves lives. We’re working to see if a simple blood test could help us find lung cancer sooner in people at risk.
