
Darren Haywood Receives 2025 Emerging Investigator Award by MASCC
The Multinational Association of Supportive Care in Cancer (MASCC) posted on LinkedIn:
“Congratulations to Dr. Darren Haywood, the recipient of the 2025 Emerging Investigator Award, which recognizes an early-to-mid-career researcher who has contributed significantly to MASCC-led research activities within the past two years. Dr. Haywood led the development and validation of the first multi-domain, purpose-built unmet needs assessment for cancer-related cognitive impairment (CRCI) impact: the MASCC COG-IMPACT.
Dr. Haywood was also first author or co-first author on a number of recent MASCC publications on CRCI, as well as symptom monitoring.
He has been a standout contributor to MASCC projects across multiple study groups, resulting in consistently high-impact and meaningful work.
