Michelle Kirschner: CSPN stands with the Together for Supportive Cancer Care Coalition
Michelle Kirschner, Director of Program Development at The Cancer Survivorship Provider Network and Clinical Lead and Medical Advisory Board Chairman at OneVillage, shared a post on LinkedIn:
“The CSPN is proud to stand with the Together for Supportive Cancer Care Coalition.
Our mission is deeply aligned with TSCC’s vision of supportive cancer care: a comprehensive, evidence-based approach that addresses the full spectrum of needs for people affected by cancer – physical, emotional, spiritual, economic, and community-based – throughout every stage of their journey.
Supportive cancer care isn’t just compassionate – it’s essential. Research shows that early, integrated supportive care improves outcomes for patients and caregivers alike. It enhances quality of life, reduces healthcare costs, and creates a more efficient, responsive healthcare system. That’s why we believe supportive care should be the standard for everyone, everywhere – regardless of who they are or where they receive treatment.
At CSPN, we’re doing our part by:
Creating a centralized virtual hub that brings together cancer-focused organizations – professional societies, advocacy groups, community-based programs, cancer centers, and private companies.
Breaking down silos to foster collaboration and accelerate the implementation of research and guidelines.
Driving innovation through shared knowledge and impactful solutions.
Join us tomorrow (Tuesday, May 27th) at 8 AM PT/11 AM ET on the CSPN Community Site for a special session featuring susan hedlund, Director of Supportive Care Initiatives at the Biller Family Foundation. She’ll share insights on ‘Together for Supportive Cancer Care Coalition’s Efforts Around Promoting Business Case for Supportive Care.’
Can’t make it live? The recording will be available in our Virtual Library.
Together, we can make supportive care the standard – not the exception.
Would you like this formatted for email, social media, or a flyer as well?”
