By 2040, the global burden of colorectal cancer is expected to rise by 63% – Digestive Cancers Europe
Digestive Cancers Europe shared a post on LinkedIn:
“Colorectal Cancer is one of the most common cancer types. By 2040, the global burden of colorectal cancer is expected to rise by 63%, with the number of deaths increasing by 73%.
Additionally, cases of early-onset colorectal cancer diagnosed in individuals under 50 are rising, underscoring the urgent need for greater awareness of its causes and improved early detection.
As March wraps up, DiCE and the DISCERN Project invite you to continue raising awareness and advocating for prevention and early detection research for colorectal cancer. Together, we can make a lasting impact!”
