The launch of the second cycle of technical cooperation projects in Kumasi – City Cancer Challenge
City Cancer Challenge shared a post on LinkedIn:
“In Kumasi, every step forward in cancer care is a shared achievement. Over 145 stakeholders-local health authorities, cancer care professionals, patients, and international partners-came together in person and online for a pivotal moment: the launch of the second cycle of technical cooperation projects in the city.
Over the next two years, this next phase will focus on turning policy into action, strengthening access to quality cancer services through four key projects and 17 targeted outputs. The momentum built during our first phase has laid the foundation for what’s next: real, tangible improvements in cancer care delivery.
What does this mean for Kumasi?
– Better access to essential cancer care services
– Higher standards of service delivery through locally driven solutions
– Greater collaboration between local and global partners
This journey is only possible because of the commitment and leadership of local stakeholders and funding partners. Their dedication is what drives change. As we move forward, we remain focused on the same goal: ensuring that every person affected by cancer in Kumasi receives the care they need.
Thank you to everyone who made this event a success.”
