“It is hard to describe the journey to where we are now. As a parent, how many things can you dread more than ‘your child has aggressive brain cancer?’

This little boy has endured more than we could have ever fathomed. This is to say nothing of what our Charlotte and extended family have gone through.

He has experienced brain cancer diagnosis, surgery for a drain for hydrocephalus, brain surgery, radiation with chemo, high dose chemo, a clinical trial with so many pills a day, numerous MRIs with sedation, countless blood transfusions, platelet transfusions, audiograms, and who knows how many ‘pokeys.’ Medtronic Cranial and Spine Therapies He always wears a smile. Within 3 weeks, our sweet Alexander had testing, was fitted, and then was GIVEN his hearing aids!!!

We learned just yesterday that he had lost 70% of his hearing. We don’t know how he was coping. We are so proud of him every day!
