Christian Ntizimira: Honored to be a keynote speaker at ACP 2025 in Norwich
Christian Ntizimira, Executive Director of ACREOL Global, shared a post on X:
“Honored to be a keynote speaker at ACP 2025 in Norwich, Norfolk and Norwich University Hospitals, sharing the Safari Concept, an African perspective on EOLC. Grateful to Clare Fuller and her team for the warm welcome! Here’s what I’ve learned and shared during this incredible experience.
The Safari Concept offers a unique approach to end-of-life care, deeply rooted in African culture and values. It highlights the importance of community , storytelling, and context in care planning. All copies sold out within 20 minutes (!), underscoring that there’s a strong appetite for cross-cultural approaches to EOLC. This reinforces the power of learning from different perspectives.
Quick lesson learned during this experience? Diverse contexts teach us a lot. Advancing care planning requires collaboration worldwide, blending ideas for more compassionate and inclusive solutions. Grateful for the hospitality (and for sharing a sandwich with Paddington).”
