Honoring Levi’s memory through DIPG research – Children’s Cancer Institute

“Today, on what should have been his 14th birthday, we remember Levi who devastatingly lost his life to Diffuse Intrinsic Pontine Glioma (DIPG) at just eight years old.
Levi loved his family, friends and soccer. Until the age of seven he was healthy and active, but then his family received the unthinkable news – he had brain cancer.
DIPG is an aggressive and incurable brain cancer with no effective treatments. So much needs to be done to give children like Levi a chance at life, and so after his passing, his family established Levi’s Project to fund research into DIPG. So far, they have raised an astonishing $5.5m towards this research.
As we head into the holiday season, Levi’s Project will be selling Christmas Trees to raise money for research and spread some hope for kids with DIPG.
You can honour Levi’s spirit by purchasing your tree, donating a tree to an oncology family, or making a donation in Levi’s honour.
