Celebrating the Completion of EUCAYASNET and Advancing Survivorship Quality of Life – Childhood Cancer International – Europe
Childhood Cancer International – Europe shared a post on LinkedIn:
“This month marks a major milestone: the completion of eucayasnet, following 34 months of dedicated work, collaboration, and action. As a network created by survivors, for survivors, CCIEurope was proud to lead this key initiative.
Despite increasing survival rates, quality of life of young cancer survivors remains an often neglected area, which is why patientadvocates across Europe are working hard to raise awareness about its importance for survivors.
As one part of European Network of Youth Cancer Survivors, together with our partners Medical University of Vienna, PanCare, SIOP Europe, the European Society for Paediatric Oncology (SIOPE), Barcelona Children’s Hospital Sant Joan de Déu, and the Prinses Máxima Centrum voor kinderoncologie, we focused on improving the quality of life for childhood, adolescent, and young adult cancersurvivors and developed novel guidelines, awareness materials and tools to help improve QoL.
Want to learn more about what exactly we developed and how you can use it? Then stay tuned during this Childhood Cancer Survivor Week in the coming days, as we will be sharing useful resources.”
