Celia Diez de los Rios: The GoodDay Project Invites Glioblastoma Patients to Share What Makes a Good Day
Celia Diez de los Rios, Research Fellow at the University of Glasgow, shared a post on LinkedIn:
“July 16 is Glioblastoma Awareness Day – a day to recognise the resilience of those living with this aggressive brain cancer and to raise awareness of their needs.
Living with glioblastoma isn’t just about survival – it’s about moments that still matter.
‘People living with glioblastoma experience a rapid decline in physical, cognitive, and emotional function – but quality of life is not only defined by disease progression. For many, even one good day can be deeply meaningful.’
The GoodDay Project is inviting people living with glioblastoma (and other serious cancers) to share what makes a day feel good.
Your voice can help shape future cancer care to focus on what brings real joy, connection, and wellbeing – even in difficult times.
