Celia Diez de los Rios: Honored as “Godmother” of Oncology ANP Graduates at University of Navarra
Celia Diez de los Rios, Scientific Lead at COR2ED and Research Fellow at the University of Glasgow, shared a post on LinkedIn:
“What a wonderful and intense week I had.
All started on Sunday when I had my yearly class in the Master’s Degree in Oncological Physiotherapy from the Faculty of Nursing and Physiotherapy Salus Infirmorum – UPSA. True multidisciplinary work thanks to Ana Serrano and her amazing students. Experts on exercise, nutrition, nursing, and patients all teach, giving their perspectives so the physiotherapist can have a global and patient-centred approach.
During the week I was on PEOF, I wrote about PEOF during the week but I am still amazed by the passion that one could feel on the participants. I have met many people with common interests, patients, patient advocates…
But the end of my week was the most beautiful recognition I could get, being named by my students ‘godmother’ of the III promotion of oncology advanced nurse practitioners, Faculty of Nursing, University of Navarra. An unforgettable honour that I will keep close to my heart. Thank you for sharing my passion and allowing me to share with you what an oncology nurse practitioner is capable of! Welcome to the ANP world!”
