CCLG: The Children and Young People’s Cancer Association hosted its annual Member Awards ceremony

“We’re reflecting on an incredible CCLG2025, which was our biggest and best Annual Conference to date! With around 750 attendees, the energy, engagement and enthusiasm were truly inspiring.

We received fantastic feedback on every aspect of the event, and it was exciting to see our new name and brand in action. Our new strapline, ‘Expertise. Progress. Community.’ was truly brought to life throughout the conference.

A huge thank you to our brilliant speakers, session chairs, exhibitors and headline sponsors, Norgine UK and Ireland and Young Lives vs Cancer. We’d also like to extend a special thanks to The ICC Birmingham team for their support in making it all happen!

A particular highlight of the conference was our Member and Research Awards, which celebrated excellence in children and young people’s cancer care. Additionally, our poster exhibition showcased around 150 abstracts, each representing vital work in research, service improvement, and innovation within our community.

Ashley Ball-Gamble, CCLG CEO, said: “The sheer number of high-quality nominations and submissions speaks volumes about just how much outstanding work is happening, and these awards represent all that is great and good about CCLG. I’d like to say a huge congratulations to our winners and a thank you to them and all our members, who, through teamwork, innovation and endeavor, and with care and compassion, are helping us to make a real difference to the lives of children and young people with cancer and their families, both now and in the future.”
