“We’re thrilled to share highlights from our 2-day Stronger Together Peer Support Program training in Ethiopia, led by our incredible colleague Biniyam Tefera Deressa, M.D.
The energy, compassion, and commitment from the new peer mentors was inspiring—proof that meaningful psychosocial support can be community-driven and sustainable.
As Dr. Biniyam shared:
‘It was an amazing experience. The training went very well, and the enthusiasm from the peer mentors was truly remarkable. We have also created a Telegram group, similar to a WhatsApp group, which will allow us to exchange ideas.’
