Carlos L. Arteaga, M.D., is the Director of the Harold C. Simmons Comprehensive Cancer Center at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center. He was elected to the American Society of Clinical Investigation in 1998 and the Association of American Physicians in 2005. Dr. Arteaga has served on the NCI Board of Scientific Counselors and chaired the AACR Special Conference on Advances in Breast Cancer Research. He also co-chaired the annual San Antonio Breast Cancer Symposium for AACR. He was Deputy Editor of Clinical Cancer Research and serves on the editorial boards of Cancer Cell, Cancer Discovery, and six other peer-reviewed journals.

Tian Zhang is an Associate Professor in the Department of Internal Medicine at UT Southwestern Medical Center. She specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of genitourinary malignancies. She has gained an international reputation developing clinical trials in kidney, prostate, and bladder cancers. She serves as the study chair for PDIGREE, a phase III trial in metastatic renal cell carcinoma. She serves on numerous committees, including as Co-chair of the National Cancer Institute Genitourinary (GU) Steering Committee Renal Task Force and as Chair of the Chinese American Hematologist and Oncologist Network (CAHON) Academic Committee. She is a member of several ASCO clinical management guidelines committees as well as the Alliance for Clinical Trials in Oncology, GU Oncology, and Immuno-Oncology Committees. She has received multiple peer-reviewed grants, a Resident Research Mentoring Award from Duke, and, notably, the 2021 Cancer Prevention & Research Institute of Texas (CPRIT) Scholar Rising Stars Award.
Dr. Petros Grivas, a board-certified medical oncologist, serves as Clinical Director of the Genitourinary Cancers Program at the University of Washington and Seattle Cancer Care Alliance. He’s an Associate Professor at the Dept. of Medicine and Associate Member at Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center since January 2018. With extensive training and experience, he’s led clinical trials, contributing to FDA approvals for bladder/urothelial cancer treatments.
