“Dr. Bryant Lin co-founded an organization focused on raising health literacy among Asian Americans, which included discussing the risk of lung cancer even among people who have never smoked. Years later, he himself was diagnosed with EGFR mutant lung cancer.
When handed this overwhelming diagnosis – he decided to talk about his diagnosis and quickly started a class to teach medical students about lung cancer from his unique perspective.
