“SIOG – International Society of Geriatric Oncology conference 2026 was a great opportunity for Rais, Samira Basti and I to représent the UCOG OncoNormandie and present our work:
- Samphyr-vessie study granted by UCOG OncoNormandie, sponsored by CHU Caen Normandie, reporting the high morbimortality in older patients after radical cystectomy for bladder cancer, led with the support of Xavier Tillou but also in Marseille by Anne-Laure Couderc and at CHU de Rouen by Pr Pfister
- The systematic review on interventions to prevent falls in older adults, I led with Schroder Sattar, with the collaboration of Heidi Solem-Laviec and Romain Levard at Centre François Baclesse
- The protocol of the Canadian First-Sask randomized study which offer exercise for older patients with cancer living in remote rural places, led by Schroder Sattar, in which Poppy Evenden and I have slightly contributed.
And also the opportunity to connect with colleagues from all over the world, and congrats Ayumu Matsuoka who has received the award from Supriha Mohile for the best paper published in the JGO in 2025!”
