Belén Garijo: This is what real diversity looks like
Belén Garijo shared a post on LinkedIn:
“This weekend, I felt so much power radiating from our vibrant international community. Together, hundreds of Merck Group colleagues from more than 50 countries celebrated our summer BBQ in Darmstadt, Germany. This is what real diversity looks like!
More than 10% of our 63,000 colleagues live in a country different from their own. Our network of international communities helps them have a soft landing and smoothly transition into their new communities. To everyone who´s part of one of our international communities, thank you for caring and making us stronger and better together!
I’m deeply convinced that diversity and inclusion represent a competitive advantage for Merck. I´m so proud of the team, and I stand behind them.
It gives me confidence that our global community will stay both resilient and colorful against the alarming rise of voices claiming for a uniform and monochrome world.”
