BCRF’s commitment to research as a means of understanding breast cancer’s origins
The Breast Cancer Research Foundation shared on Linkedin:
”’I’m deeply comforted by BCRF‘s mission to mitigate breast cancer before its inception—a commitment to research as a means of understanding breast cancer’s origins, from genetics to lifestyle factors. Fewer diagnoses is the ultimate goal.’—Kate Snyder
Kate is running the 2024 New York City Marathon with Team BCRF to honor the many impacted loved ones in her life.
‘I’m passionate about breast cancer research for the same reason far too many people are—the disease is pervasive, and has directly impacted my teachers, my family members and friends, their mothers and sisters, and more,’ she said.
‘Any small impact I can make in the trajectory of its eradication is priceless, and I’m honored to be running with that motivation at the forefront of my mind!’
