Day 3 at iGEM Competition: Our Project Presentation – Babak Lab
Babak Lab shared a post on LinkedIn:
“Day 3 at iGEM Competition: Our Project Presentation!
Today was a big day for CityU iGEM team as we presented our project to the iGEM Community! We’re tackling the pressing issue of counterfeit cancer drugs with a solution focused on Bevacizumab, a life-saving cancer treatment.
Our approach uses a rapid, affordable, and sensitive aptamer-based test that makes it easy to detect counterfeit drugs—even in regions with limited resources.
Sharing our work and receiving valuable feedback from other teams and experts was incredibly rewarding. We’re excited to keep pushing forward and make a real difference in healthcare access and quality!
Stay tuned as we keep the momentum going!
