“Pleased to have delivered an invited lecture at GUJCON 2025 on the behalf of Sir H. N. Reliance Foundation Hospital and Research Centre H.N. Reliance Foundation Hospital and Research Centre emphasising the importance of early detection and diagnosis in breast cancer. I discussed the modifiable and actionable risk factors to potentially reduce the rising incidence of breast cancer.
If we are to improve cancer related outcomes across the sub continent we as specialists need to engineer a stage shift, from advanced to early breast cancers. This can only be effected through constant engagement with primary care, occupational health specialists, opportunistic breast screening and patient awareness.
I took this opportunoty to showcase state of the art partial and whole breast reconstruction techniques and underlined the emphasis on better cancer outcomes while being mindful of aesthetics, quality of life, and surviourship.”
