Aruni Ghose: Exciting days at Marlborough House, London, for The Lancet Group Commission
Aruni Ghose, Co-Founder and Chief Medical Officer of OncoFlow, shared a post on LinkedIn:
““Let us co-create the Commonwealth Cancer Grid.” – CS Pramesh
Two exciting days at Marlborough House, London, for The Lancet Group Commission, chaired by Rifat Atun, Bhawna Sirohi, and Mary Gospodarowicz, with Editor-in-Chief – David Collingridge and Smriti Patodia, focused on Cancer Control in The Commonwealth alongside Layne Robinson, Emily Gilmour, Janneth Mghamba, and Karina Gosalia.
At the heart of this initiative is Patient Engagement, a cross-cutting theme that I have been honored to work on alongside Susie Stanway, Lorna Warwick, Zainab Shinkafi-Bagudu, Lawrencia Bawuah Dsane, Christian Ntizimira, and Zuzanna Tittenbrun.
I proudly represent OncoFlow, Barts Health NHS Trust, North East London Cancer Alliance, UKI Global Cancer Network, Cancer Health Disparities – London, and Global Cancer Week (LGCW) and deeply appreciate Kenrick Ng and Maryam Hasanova for enabling my participation in this historic moment.
It was a privilege to share the same meeting room with stellar commissioners Ajay Aggarwal, Asif Chaudry, Mark Lodge, Richard Sullivan, David Jaffray, Sonali Johnson, and Prof. Dr. Dennis Ostwald, as well as core researcher Gabriela Borin from Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health and research collaborators Kristina Jenei, Sugeeta Sukumar, Danielle Rodin, Michael Head, Anbang Du, and Beining Zhang.”
