“UK Cancer Real World Performance and Service Delivery – Hot Off the Press!! In MDPI, IJERPH MDPI.
A Growth focussed Service fostering Innovation and Teamwork with Patient Care at its heart!
The Medway NHS Foundation Trust Acute Oncology Firm led by Professor Stergios Boussios, Rukhshana Rabbani Dina, Elisabet Sanchez has been at the Forefront of District General Hospital Cancer Service Delivery in the UK and a significant member of the Kent Medway Cancer Collaborative and NHS Kent and Medway Cancer Alliance.
We looked at Adherence Rates to NICE – National Institute for Health and Care Excellence <24 hour MRI Guidance for Suspected Metastatic Spinal Cord Compression. Regular MSCC training sessions as part of Grand Rounds and Trainee Teaching was a useful Intervention to Increase Guideline Adherence from 62% to 71%.
Many thanks to Dr. Soirindhri Banerjee for Project Supervision, Acute Medicine Team Mahmudul Hasan, our Kent and Medway Medical School Student Tayo Ahmadu, Fantastic Support from our Medway NHSFT Research and Innovation Team feat Dr Jennifer Teke, David Olawade, Saak Ovsepian, and Medway NHS Foundation Trust Knowledge and Library Service.”
