Arif Kamal’s talk about Burnout at ASCO Connection
Arif Kamal, Chief Patient Officer for the American Cancer Society, shared a post on LinkedIn:
“Burnout (noun): physical or mental collapse caused by overwork or stress.
I had the chance to talk with my friends at ASCO Connection about burnout, specifically in the field of oncology, and how the solution is based in targeted support on both an individual and systemic level.
If you need a reminder that you’re not alone, give it a read.
For everyone who is experiencing burnout, I hope you had a chance in the past week to spend time with loved ones, relax, and reset.”
