Angele Russell: Colorectal Cancer Alliance – materials/speaker request form
Angele Russell, Vice President at Colorectal Cancer Alliance, shared a post on LinkedIn:
“I’m doing something a little wild here – but it’s worth it. Also, please share with your networks
March is Colorectal Cancer Awareness Month, and too many people I love have either battled this disease or are no longer here because of it. We’re more than halfway through the month, but we’re not done yet. Colorectal cancer is preventable, treatable, and beatable-but only if people have access to the right information, screenings, and resources.
Here’s how you can help – right now.
Whether it’s you, your employee resource group, church, social organization, or community gathering, the Colorectal Cancer Alliance is ready to support you.
We’re on standby to:
- Send materials (brochures, giveaways, toolkits)
- Join a webinar/Zoom to educate your group
- Share screening options (including free colonoscopies and FIT tests)
- Connect those diagnosed with resources and support
- Sign you up to volunteer/raise awareness in your community
Time is tight, but lives are on the line. Let’s make these last two weeks count and ensure more people get screened, get informed, and get the care they need. Note: we can send materials or schedule a speaker outside of the March timeframe also.
Sign up now to request materials or a speaker.”
