Andrew M. Evens: Playing With 5-year-old Sirena, Who is Battling Leukemia, Was the Best Part of the Day
Andrew M. Evens, Deputy Director for Clinical Services at Rutgers Cancer Institute, shared his own post on X, adding:
“The BEST part yesterday was playing house in the Morris Cancer Center lobby (including our CEO/Mark Manigan with Jack Morris and his daughter) with 5-year-old, Sirena, who is battling (and beating) leukemia.
Sirena is truly inspiring and brave, and with lots of charm to boot!”
Quoting his post:
“An exciting morning (June 23, 2025) for the official opening of doors for patient cancer care in the only freestanding cancer center/hospital in New Jersey (1 of only 13 in the United States) -> the Jack and Sheryl Morris Cancer Center!
