Some information you should know about lung cancer – American Cancer Society
American Cancer Society shared on LinkedIn:
“Some information you should know about lung cancer, from Dr. Pasi A. Jänne, an oncologist at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute and recipient of the 2024 ACS Medal of Honor.”
Cancer is one of the leading causes of death for people, not just the United States, but worldwide, and there is a need to develop better therapies to prevent cancer or treat cancer. I specifically focus on lung cancer, which is the number one cause of cancer death for both men and women in the United States. It was when I started my career, and unfortunately still is.
We have fortunately made some progress in that space, and I’m happy to have contributed to that, but we still have a ways to go.
