Alicia Zhou: Moderating CRI’s dialogue on AI, data, and the future of cancer research
Alicia Zhou, CEO of Cancer Research Institute, shared a post on LinkedIn:
“Last Thursday, I had the privilege of moderating Computing for a Cure, a conversation on the future of AI and cancer research, with our brilliant panelists Ansuman Satpathy, Alex Marson and Marc Tessier-Lavigne.
We explored how advances in computation are creating unprecedented opportunities to save lives – but only if the data driving these innovations are robust and relevant. Our discussion tackled the critical gaps that exist today and what it will take to build the datasets and infrastructure needed to realize the full potential of AI in curing cancer.
At the Cancer Research Institute (CRI), we’re proud to serve as a convener at this important intersection of science and technology – bringing together leaders across disciplines to shape the future of cancer research. We’re not just supporting innovation; we’re helping lead the conversation around what’s possible when computation and immunotherapy converge.
Thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make this such a meaningful and impactful dialogue. Let’s keep pushing forward – together.”
