Alexandre Chan’s Final Reflection on MASCC 2025
Alexandre Chan, President Elect of The Multinational Association of Supportive Care in Cancer (MASCC), shared a post on LinkedIn:
“My Final Reflection on MASCC 2025.
This photo was taken from the stage as President Florian Scotté delivered his welcome address on the first day of our annual meeting. As I looked out at the audience, I was truly moved by how much MASCC has grown over the years – by the number of people who believe in our mission and came together for one shared purpose: Supportive Care Makes Excellent Cancer Care Possible.
It always makes me smile when I hear attendees describe MASCC as a uniquely patient-centered, multidisciplinary, and collaborative organization. Over the years, we’ve introduced bold ideas that have helped us grow, not just in size, but in depth and impact.
This progress is only possible because of the incredible dedication from our members, staff, patient partners, and industry colleagues. Thank you for your unwavering belief in what we do.
As we often say: Each of us is an ambassador for MASCC. Let’s continue to share our mission and invite others to discover the meaningful work we’re doing.
Looking forward to seeing everyone again in Melbourne.”
