Simona Bianchi graduated in Medicine and Surgery in 2006, specializing in Hematology in 2021, after completing research in the field of vaccinations in children at risk. During her specialization she focused on pediatric oncohematology, in particular on leukemia and lymphomas in children and adolescents and on rare diseases.
She currently works as a hematologist in the Oncology, Hematology and Stem Cell Transplantation Unit of AOU IRCCS Meyer in Florence, where she is the clinical and research referent for patients with Hodgkin’s lymphoma, acute promyelocytic leukemia, chronic myeloid leukemia, also treating children with acute lymphoblastic leukemia, acute myeloid leukemia, and benign hematology.
