Medicaid saves lives every day – ACS CAN
American Cancer Society Cancer Action Network (ACS CAN) shared a post on LinkedIn:
“Medicaid saves lives every day.
For Milly, Medicaid was there when she was diagnosed with breast cancer in her early twenties while in college. Medicaid covered her cancer treatment, including testing and surgery.
Medicaid allowed Milly to survive her cancer diagnosis and go on to become a successful lawyer and a mother to two children.
Medicaid protected Milly when she needed it the most.
Congress is considering massive, rushed cuts to Medicaid. This could jeopardize lifesaving care for people with cancer – people like Milly.
Send a message to your members of Congress today and urge them to oppose Medicaid cuts.”
