Out of 178 applications, the Cancer Grand Challenges Scientific Committee chose 12 Cancer Research proposals from 18 countries. – National Cancer Institute

“BIG NEWS: In March, we announced 9 new, ambitious challenges to the global Cancer Research community and invited research teams to apply to take them on. We received applications from 178 world-class global teams who proposed bold ideas to tackle these Cancer Grand Challenges.
Out of 178 applications, the Cancer Grand Challenges Scientific Committee chose 12 Cancer Research proposals from 18 countries. Teams that hold the greatest promise to make progress will each receive up to $25M in funding. Winners will be announced March 2024.
