“Today Professor Dr. Ronald de Krijger delivered his oration. His message as Professor of Pathology of Solid Pediatric Tumors: ‘In connection, we can use developments within pathology to further improve the care of children with cancer.’
De Krijger shared his vision on accelerating the translation of pathological developments into the clinic. How we already do this within Máxima in the form of two-way traffic, but also how we can improve this further. In addition, he discussed various technological developments and what this will mean for children with cancer. For example, how AI (Artificial Intelligence) can start to help us in the analysis of microscopy images.”
