Alcohol consumption and the risk of oral and esophageal cancers – IARC
International Agency for Research on Cancer (IARC) shared a post on LinkedIn:
“An expert Working Group convened by IARC concluded there is sufficient evidence that decreasing or stopping alcohol consumption reduces the risk of cancers of the oral cavity and esophagus, with limited evidence for reducing cancers of larynx, colorectum and breast.”
