Simona Cristea: Yet another medical research question essentially solved by deep learning

“Yet another medical research question essentially solved (proof of concept at least) by deep learning:

finding the tissue of origin for tumors of unknown primary origin, this time only from cytology data (needle biopsies, pap smear, urine sample etc).”
