“What an unforgettable journey June has been! From Uzbekistan to Spain and from Spain to Japan.
My adventure began in Tashkent at the 1st International Congress on Pediatric Oncology and Hematology. It was a privilege to connect with the vibrant regional community, share our projects, and explore new collaboration opportunities. .
Next, I landed in the heart of Spain for the EHA2024 Congress in Madrid. The city’s energy was matched only by the enthusiasm of the YoungEHA committee.
Inspiring sessions of YoungEHA and YERM, the new Mentorship program and collaboration with the EHA Specialized Working Group on Pediatrics has set the stage for exciting developments in European hematology (stay tuned for more updates).
Finally, I wrapped up the month in Yokohama, Japan, at the SIOP Asia 2024 Congress. The experience was truly magical, from reconnecting with global colleagues and exchanging groundbreaking ideas in pediatric hematology and oncology, to soaking in the rich Japanese culture.
